This day may not be too far away. Imagine traveling to another planet. Great small but important details--short wait for the bathroom, emergency life-jacket and bedpan. Love the casual tone of this in contrast to the horror awaiting at the end of the journey.

Steve; On thing I did finding your poetry is that there is no round-trip journey to this adventure. So this is intended to be metaphorically written with an I could see where life's journey is only has it is up one has to relieve themselves from all the internal excrement that we take during our lifetime. Usually life is just a one-man trip and no need to have others in your journey and miss you need them or want them. Interesting conception and perception on life or at least that's what I think in a relative manner. Thanks for sharing and posting and may you have a good one and good luck in the contest.

Pretty ironic and close enough to the truth to make me uncomfortable. LOL! The bathroom line was long enough to require diapers. I suppose the same will be true at the other end of the line. Sigh! Was it worth the ticket? Good luck in the contest, Steve.
