I like the introduction of Anita and the possibilities of storyline her character introduces. It looks like Laura may have to act on creating the friendship sites, like it or not!
I think Paul is more aware of Laura's activities than she thinks, the younger generation are way more tech savvy than we realize.

Laura was glad she had her back to him so he couldn't see her face. She took a deep breath and turned to face him with what she hoped was a convincing excuse for what had happened.
'Well, I thought it did, until I did some research. I thought chat lines were an area on a site where members could message each other.'
'They're called chat rooms, Mum. That's a completely different thing from chat lines!'
She could see the relief on his face, so she gave him a reassuring smile.
'Don't worry, Son. I know that now...'
This had to be her oh shit moment. Long but informative chapter

A well written chapter and I must say it held my attention right to the end. It is a frightening experience when you have grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle and then your companion for so long dies.

You are always welcome. As far as my eyes go..I have beautiful eyes! One eye is so beautiful the other one can't stop looking at it! I also wear thick glasses, so thick infact that I have to have bloody good eyes to see through them!
