This chapter cracked me up!!! The girls reminded me of those comedy shows where the actors do an improv scene. But truly, Karen picking at her scab while John is making like the Big Bad Wolf, huffing and puffing... the writing is absolutely brilliant.
How the heck did you learn to write like that?! :-)
One question: what does 'eyes out almost on stalks' mean?

Lol, it was fun to write. A friend of mine had a leg infection when I wrote this, and she was always tempted to pick at the scabs when she was sitting watching TV (not in front of anyone else, I'm glad to say. It gave me such a visual image in my head, I couldn't resist using it! Bless you for the six, Sue. It always makes my day to get one. Alexis xxx

The curiosity and not knowing what the caller wants and wondering will the caller believe everything the girls are doing was always on my mind? The peeing as being a popular fetish is amazing. Didn't think that, but you never know. I thought of one thing which could come much later in the book is when someone in the family hears of one of them on the phone. That would be a real eye opener. Well, I thought it was! I've had a lot of inspiration over the last couple of days, much of it thanks to you. There were aspects of the story that have been limiting my imagination for weeks, principally, the prologue I had written. Now I've removed it, and taken 'Venice' out of the equation, The story, and the ending, are going to be so much easier to write (I hated my first version because I was in a different 'place' when I wrote it. My sincere thanks again for your help and ideas, all of which I will act upon, although maybe a week or so later than I originally intended. Alexis x

My research led me to this 56 year old woman who wrote a very short book on the subject and she claims that the 'acting side of things it what she loves about her job as a very successful sex phone operative. I suppose, the older you are, the less seriously you're likely to take it. I find it hilarious! Alexis x

I can't thank you enough for not only your fantastic support, but this very complimentary six. I'm sorry to be racing on a bit but I hope to have the completed book in the hands of a playwright by the beginning of next week, so need as much feed back as I can before I do! Alexis x

I am sure there are actually guys who like to be peed on. I can't pretend to understand that one, but the girls sure seemed to have a good laugh over it. At least, they just had to pour water into a bowl. That works! Karen seems like she is really enjoying acting this all out.

I think the funniest bit is the fact that the women are all involved with those first calls. The scene wouldn't be half so funny if someone was doing it on their own. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you. Alexis x
