Hahahahaha! G'day Anon. I am rapidly starting to become a fan of these little pieces when I get to read one as good this one is. It's a great entry to the contest and I wish you luck in it, cheers Fez

Heh-heh...yeah, the contests administrator sure didn't leave you much room for error, did they? You have to get a coherent message across, probably a funny one as this one is, to be effective. Then you must keep it at or under fifteen words. Hey, better you than me!
Good luck in the contest. :)

I wasn't exactly sure what to take out of reading this. Interesting poem, however. I am sure that it could be interpreted many ways.

Thanks for reviewing - sorry you didn't get it.
Are multiple interpretations a bad thing??

This is a hilarious response to the contest rule of 15 words or fewer
I love the allusion to the Mission Impossible series and movie
great repetition of abort to show the urgency of the matter about not breaking the contest word limit - truly witty and laugh inducing :-) Brooke

Thanks, Brooke - glad you got the allusion - maybe too subtle for younger readers?

I absolutely loved this poem. I am wanting to get into children's poetry so I felt the need to review the poem. It was short and simple. The language used was appropriate for children. The illustration that came with the poem has the 'cute' factor and accompanies the lyrics in a positive and fun way. Smaller children will be drawn to the poem through the illustration. I look forward to reading more poetry from this poet.

Hi, Kat - welcome to FanStory
I have quite a few kids poems in my portfolio, but I can't tell you where to look until this 'blind' contest is over.
I must admit, I hadn't thought of this as a poem for kids, despite the illustration.

Just like the picture that you chose with your work, very cute. I think it is a message to all of us. Sometimes quantity does not equate to quality. But the encouragement to write more and more. Does get the juices flowing. Good luck
