Gotta catch up. These crazy people think I'm supposed to take care of them or something!! I always love scenes with Lucifer. Ha! There's a line to take out of context. :) So he still can't let Ginger go. His poetry is improving. You should have him join Fanstory and have the minions of hell flood the voting booths so he wins all the contests ... or they could vote for me. mikey

They are already voting for you, Mikey. I've heard the rumors. :)

Thanks for reading. I hate getting behind. I didn't do much over the weekend but watch the pretty snow fall, and then Monday I had 47 folks waiting for me to review their work. I did it ... took till 7:00 AM tho. :)

Blaze sure gave old Luke a very good story about what happened to the senator. Luke feel for it. I like his little poem, they are getting better. LOL

Thank you. Now she has an assignment she might like. She'll enjoy getting closer to her old friend, and she can tell LUke what she wants. He won't know.

So Blaze is going back to where the twins are. That should prove interesting.

This is a nice chapter with a smooth dialog and good discretion.

The silly poems are a nice touch.

The focus Blaze's lie. The storyline development Blaze goes to tell Luke about Blake. Her version to him is Blake left a note and disappeared. Luke sends her back and she is to keep an I on Ginger and report any problems she has in her marriage.
The dialogue is clear and shows through the words their emotions. The narrative shows action like when Luke falls on to the coals.
The emotion I felt is surprise that Luke didn't see through her lie.
The hook will Blake continue to be hide or will Blaze be forced to bring him back?
Keep on writing.

Phyllis, today so far we got 14 inches of snow and more to come, it's been a blizzard since 0900. Have a great week. Walk in the shadow of God. *o* Rita

Thanks, Rita. It's still snowing here and we have about ten inches. WOuld have been a lot more except during the day it was 35 degrees and it packed together... too heavy to shovel so it's a good thing my hubby bought a new snowblower this year. The snow falling on top is light and fluffy since the temp dropped. It's beautiful... I have no complaints! My Tibetan doggies love it, too! :)

I love Poe, and this one is one of my favorites. Glad she got out of that mess...I think. I wouldn't want a lover with those fingernails, Satan or not. lol

She got of a tight spot due to 2 things : Luke's lack of deep thought and his obsession with Ginger. I did a double take on the first paragraph discuss of the work of Poe. It didn't 't false or an added piece just to show another side of Luke. Of course, he would enjoy that work. Thanks for putting that in for all us English Lit nerds!

Good chapter, Phyllis. Luke loved Ginger or as good as he could? And she broke away by marrying a human. Do I have that right? It seems that Blaze would like to get out, but she is not so adamant as Ginger was. Nice writing. Drew xx

Thank you, Drew. Luke doesn't know what love is, but he did depend on Ginger(Tara now) for advice. Of course, he would take her smarter suggestions as his own, but she understood his big ego and didn't mind. He also lusted after her, and Ginger cooperated there, too. She at one time thought he would marry her and make her a queen, but when she mentioned it, he set her straight--her OWNED her and would never marry anyone. THat's when she left Hell and started dating Gary. They fell in love and that changed her mind about doing evil... she was redeemed, but only because she alone among demons was not in Hell for being a rebel against God... Luke tricked her into coming when he and his many followers were sent there by God. Then she found out he lied--she could NOT go back to Heaven. God always knew she was not a rebel, but Ginger became corrupted by living in Hell for thousands of years, forgetting her past as an angel who loved God. Gary's love and the help of Franny and Father Murphy changed her and made her remember. Then God let her have the body of Tara, who was about to kill herself. So she saved Tara's soul when she took over her body, letting Tara go to Heaven to be with her recently deceased fiance and her dad. That's mostly what the last book was about.

This is her friend Blaze's story. She WAS a rebel and is not redeemable, supposedly, but she will have an experience that changes her values and will begin to fight AGAINST Luke's evil way.

    Hope that helps. :)

He is up to his old tricks, writing poetry and schmoozing the ladies. He is a bumbling devil, and it must be fun to write his character's dialogue and ideas. He may not be human, but he has human frailties when it comes to love.

Thank you so much, Maggie. Luke never really loved Ginger. He doesn't understand love. It was lust and the need to have her by his side for consulting, to help him make decisions, since his are always so bad. Of course, he took credit for the ideas. That was part of Ginger's charm... she let him. She understood his ego needs. :)

I finally got BLAZE edited and on Amazon. It's the last book with Lucifer as the Devil, the one where Blaze became an Earth Agent to take the place of Ginger. She turned the senator into a short clown, remember? Anyway, if you do and would like to leave a review, Comment from Spitfire

Great picture you put together. Good pun with Poe-etry. LOL A nod to one of his best stories. The tortures he thought of were awful. You've turned Luke into a very bad poet. LOL Poor guy. He's hooked on Ginger, still. Great ending with Blaze hearing the noise and thinking it went pretty well-considering. Ha,ha. His furniture felt the heat tho.

Thanks, Shari. Blaze is just glad he didn't toss furniture at her! He used to toss it at Frank in the first book, which is why Frank ran away in the second book. Now, in this book, Blaze will desert him too, even without being hit on the head with a chair. :)
