Very interesting words to read
the art was great and right for this poem.
We live our lives until we have to leave
We meet many on the way as others do
life can be a very changing situation.

What is this, Walt? Two poems (though one you called fiction) that I can understand. At least I can follow the thread of theme throughout.
This is sad, but not as sad. There is hope marbled through it. The drinking isn't only despair. It's part of the celebration as well.
I like this poem. It makes me feel smart! LOL, it IS good!

Walter, I have read so many of your poems and this one is my favorite! I really love this piece.. it reads so well and I could understand everything within your words. The repetition of your last stanza is a perfect ending for it, this was very well done and I'm so glad I took the time to stop and read it, thanks for sharing!
