I always admire the artwork and the poem you are writing, dear Michael. They are very creative and with a distinctive style. You convey your messages in a deep and figurative manner. c", mae

I enjoyed your playful reference in the title and pirouetting artwork. Your energetic "screw the world" and colors "blinking" added to the intensity. FASTER! Cheers- Joan

Michael, I love to dance! Oh how I would dance with Brian, the cha-cha, the waltz, old time, or modern. How I missed my dancing, my skirts swirling, the music, ahh the music, I could dance all night and all day. Music is my breathing, it is my heart beat, but is has stopped, Michael. Love you, my dear friend.

Me too...but I most comfortable when no one is watching...I've seen looks I'd care never to again...once I had gas very badly...bloated up miserable, and I had this...ah this pressure building like Mt Saint Helen stirring hot molten lava....with your finger....I mean ouch....and ...well I was desperate I admit it willingly...and needed immeidiate medical attention...but what would I say...you know...? so I came up with a plan...I would control my release...hm hmm...so I sunk way down where anus and mind become one....and decided for the life of us...that short silent bursts would be the best option...if it should smell will just look around cross with everyone else...and shake the head a lil' bit, a couple jesus's and it'll be all over.....and so I gritted my teeth and began the experiment...have you ever seen Robin Trower play his guitar....he makes these faces, ah contorted, almost painful expression....I think that's what I was doing...I could tell by this look I will never forget on the face of a lil' girl in window seat....she just kept looking at me, shaking her head saying...Jesus. yea....I don't think i'll ever get past that...anyway, ....we are the music of life Sandy...create a new sound. love you michael

LOL! Michael!! There is nothing I can say to that. You can be so funny sometimes. I am going to learn to play the drums, my favourite musical instrument. Have you ever heard, Sandy Nelson play, "Let there be drums"? It is amazing, and I cannot sit down when I play it, you just have to get up and move. :) Love you, Sandy. xx

ah just trying to make you smile....pull my finger.......-headshake-...I'm not like that...I was the one who didn't laugh at that kind of stuff....ah I don't know whats gotten into me lately....drums, alright....I've got a bongo, and plenty of potential, all we need now is a mini van...-wink- love you-
reply by Sandra Stoner-Mitchell on 17-Jan-2015
Well you succeeded. I have some Spanish castanets, do you think they would go well with your bongo? We could have loads of fun!
A mini van? Yes, I think that would do nicely! :) Big love xx

There are times when I watch you write you look stern, other times you are quite animated. When a song is playing, especially one in which you seem to make a connection with, you close your eyes hard, perhaps to hear what it is saying and if the beat is conducive to the words. You get lost in its moment. Over and over and over you play a song for it has touched you heart and your soul. And then you compose in a way I have never observed before, brilliantly.
pas de deux, no two.. and if I were to tell you what this means to me it simply means life is a dance, a dance of two in rehearsal where not all goes well but tenacity lends to in sync. It's a moment of need and stark realization that the world has gone awry from the environment to national welfare and security, and it is this dance which must persevere in the face of uncertainty, for the dance of two is often all that makes life worth living..

Bug love, you ..love

life...my life anyway, is made up in moments ...some folk think...every poem, or story has to be placed in a "make sense" category....because their sick of the reality that no ones world spins that way...and they need to control something. Actually this is a love affair...full of...everything, interesting enough to keep life circling for more. -smile-..... God's Lamb that's good...pass the Promise....love you michael

Interesting reading. Step of two...eww. Speaks volumes, even though it is quite simple.

Thanks for sharing.
Blessings to you,

A lovely photo that complements your poem very well. It is a free verse and again one that I can understand. It is about a couple dancing but the female does not listen to his instruction.

This lost me a bit with the use of 'eww' and 'ewww'.

This really impacted on the poem. I even tried looking them up in case I was missing something but no. Too oblique.
Sorry

Michael: I have no idea what this poem is about. I won't even pretend. But, combine it with the music and I see myself sitting on a boat dock in the swamps of Louisiana, on a hot, humid day, listening to the blues and counting gaters as they lazily swim by. Nothing on my mind and no place to go. Alone and melancholy. Still lovin' ya. THUNDER

Hey Michael! I have such a difficult time seeing your poetry...the gray writing on the black background, but the sun is shining today and I enlarged the words as much as I could, and I could read it! I loved the image of twirling and circling and screwing the world down into place. How are you? Are you having a happy new year so far? I hope so, my friend.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)
