Carolyn; a very inspirational, prolific and enlightening piece of poetry that I not only enjoyed reading but was inspired by it. Your message came clearly across when you especially wrote: "Deny self and follow Him,it's joy in the making/Always tell others about His love/yes, is the answer when He asked, "would you be My child?"". A very effective message. Thank you for sharing and posting and may the Lord be with you always Carolyn.

Beautifully written poem, Carolyn. I give thanks and pray throughout the day for I think it is how I survive, especially as of late. Thanks for the wonderful read.

Perfect vessel to spread the word of our wonderful God! I love the artwork above, it shows how much appreciation the world has to offer. Yes I prayed today, several times! I love the talks we have .
God bless!

This is a beautiful poem that the author has created with this piece of work. I am afraid Tha I haven't prayed for a long time. I must get back to doing just that. My girlfriend and I used to go to the church, but we haven't been for a while. We must go again soon. Thank you.

    Thanks Linda,
Once we get started prayer is an easy thing. We certainly would never run out of things to be thankful for.

Carolyn, sometimes when Christians write they use trite phrases, however sincere. I liked the fresh way you stated the directive to pray. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

    Thanks GracieAnn,
I am sort of a 'tell it like it is' Christian. It would seem to me that when the Lord says
'give us this day our daily bread,' He is encouraging daily prayer.
    I appreciate your fine review.

Lovely acrostic poem! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and this is definitely a nice poem to start the year with. These were my favorite lines:
Always tell others about His love
Yes, is the answer when He ask, "Will you be my child?"

Great job!

No I didn't pray to any god this day as I don't believe in a supreme being. But be that as it may, this was a well written verse that gets to its point in a good poetic vogue. It is well written and voiced poetically... john
