Tara/Ginger married Gary in the previous book, and now she's pregnant. Blaze never heard of morning sickness but now she understands.

Ginger and Blaze were friends in Hell, but now that Ginger is Tara and is a redeemed angel living as a human for now, she was told to forget about her old life in Hell and not to see any of the demons she knew there that would remind her. Blaze is still a demon doing LUke's evil work, so of course she is off limits for Ginger/Tara. But old friends can't just forget each other so easily. Can they? We'll see in the next chapter, probably Friday or Saturday. Have company staying over from tomorrow and Friday nights. :)

Phyllis, of course I am hopelessly behind, but will strive to keep up with things going forward. The writing is well executed with convincing dialogue and easy to read. Well done, my friend. :0 GracieAnn

Hi Phyllis,

Good to know that Ginger is walking the straight and narrow and easing herself into motherhood - morning sickness and all!

I continue to be fascinated at your ability to keep the momentum going, my dear. You don't ever disappoint or get cheesy!

Hope you and Amanda had a beautiful Christmas. Wishing you joy, peace and good health in 2015.

Love,

Sonali

Thank you so much, Sonali. AManda and we are getting along wonderfully. She is such a joy! I'm such a lucky lady to have found her. I needed no other Xmas presents. Amanda is the best ever. :)

The dialogue sparks, information is revealed through action( Tara's rush to the bathroom) and lack of knowledge( Blaze's foggy memory of how humans reproduce. Although these ladies are not screaming at each other you can feel the tension boiling under each word they say to each other. Good character interaction chapter.

I'm getting back after a holiday break.
Nice chapter. I was a little confused when she was unclear what morning sickness meant but you explained it later.
The ending is a good lead into what will happen next.

Good posting!

I'm always amazed when you tell me you go with instinct and not so much an outline in your mind, yet the most significant aspect as how you develop plots with subplots and a depth that makes it feel like this ripened over several months. Good exchange, and nice added drama with a pregnancy.

Thank you so verrry much, Stan, for the wonderful comments. Nice to hear the story is working for you. It's about to get REALLY weird and exciting...well, in a week or two, that is. :)

You have such a talent, Phyllis, for providing perfect dialogue that moves the story right along and helps to develop and define the characters. As usual, I am negligent in keeping up with all your chapters, but I do try, given how inactive I've been lately on this site. I like how you end this chapter with the question of whether it can be easy to leave your mind behind. Hmmm . . . I wonder if that question will be answered in the next chapter. Nice work, as always.

Thanks so much, Connie. Yes, I've noticed your absence. Busy time of the year from Halloween on, I think. Hope you will have more time to read and write in the new year. January is always slow in the real world, but usually hoppin' here. :)

Your last paragraph answers the questions I had in your previous post. Something tells me that Tara/ginger' s baby will play an integral part in your book.

Hi Phyllis,

As always, this is written nicely, with just enough detail to let the reader see the scenes and realistic dialogue. You did a great job showing how Tara explained her pregnancy to Blaze. When she said it is morning sickness and Blaze was confused as hell, it made me laugh.

Hugs,
Lou
