That was really well done, Dean, I love reading western books and watching the films. And now we have the western poem, 'a la Dean Kuch'! This time, no happy ever after with the good cowboy riding off into the sunset with his prize. Awww! Have a wonderful Christmas, my friend! xsx Sandra

I have read Charlie's westerns and I am definitely a fan. You have delivered one hell of a strong western piece yourself Mr. Horror! I love the artwork which always displays that well known Dean Kuch flavor. I loved it throughout its entirety for sure.
Maybe one little oversight in editing, or not!
Folks sat in silence, showing stout defiance of Randy's Red's request.
I am your biggest fan she said before she took the sledge to his feet LOL!
God bless!

A Western no less, a departure from your usual writings.

I can see that this must have been challenging to write. To form a story like this into a poem is no mean feat.

All the western terms seem genuine to me and describe well that murderous environment where the gun rules.

Powerful words of action promote great imagery and descriptive detail. Most appropriate to the American market.

The man's name Randy is in common use in your country. As a matter of interest no man over here would dare have that name. LOL.

I see you worked a supernatural element into the last two lines. A smart way to justify the title. Although the story/poem has a certain ghostly feel to it so it blends in nicely...

Why can't some people find a love for their own? Why there are those who are willing to waste life for their selfish desire?

It is as if I am watching a tragic scene from a western movie. Full of action and emotions. Nicely and creatively done!

Happy holidays my friend and God bless you! Be safe. c", mae

I see you are adding to your ghostly collections. This is very well written. Thank you for your endorsement. I appreciate it, Dean. Charlie. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
The Gun From Hell

The gunman's ghost arose that day
Marshal Dean would have his say
In the dusty street guns spit fire and lead
At the Marshal's feet, the gunman's ghost lay deader than dead.

"One more ghost for my collection." Pleased, Marshall Dean rode away

Much appreciated, Dean. Charlie

Great suspense and drama as you fill the minds of many townspeople with much wrath and bloodshed.
Sure to be a best seller once you hook-up with c-lucus.

You did Charlie mighty proud, Dean--covered all the elements of high drama on the plains. I think it's hard to tell a story via rhyme. As usual, you did a great job with it. Poor Marion, destined to be in Tucker's Sound for eternity. (Is there a Tucker's Sound?)

Excellent tale and written and illustrated so well. I kept waiting for some ghouls to enter the story and was surprised it turned out to be truly a western saga. Very nice. I enjoyed it.

This captivated me. Its a great story poem and captures the romance of the gunslinger days. Great rhyme, meter, and graphics. You have a gifted talent with this.
