Time perfection
Words symbolise deepest emotion
Rhythm that never wavers
Faith too lofty for thoughts' disfavour

A gem of a poem, even without getting into the spiritual part of it. I loved every word you spoke. It resonates. Yes, it does.

ROYOWEN,

Very reflective, all thoughts are very well described, understandable and comprehensible. The flow was good. The theme was excellent! Your descriptive words were very good for explaining your ideas and your feelings.

There was no SPAG. No room for improvement.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

Your telling of the Christmas story is simple and direct. They rhythm and rhyme carry us through the story with joy. You told it without embellishment which added to its appeal. Thank you! Caroline

These last lines sum up the feeling of a christian perfectly
How could I ever run from Him
or find another way,
He's captured every part of me
my soul, my heart, my day.

strong message of faith and gratitude

This quatrain especially resonated with me, Roy:

'For some said He's the Son of God
or just another man
but I say He's my Savior Lord
who died my sin to ban...'

Beautifully expressed, Roy, and most inspiring.

Merry Christmas,

Bev

This is a wonderful poem, Roy, a strong and impactful expression of your strong and abiding faith. Your abcb rhyming is perfect, and you've made great use of alliteration to promote the flow of your well chosen words.

I am particularly moved by your last stanza:

"How could I ever run from him
or find another way,
He's captured every part of me
my soul, my heart, my day."

Lovely! Have a wonderful Christmas, my friend. Alana

This work has reached the exceptional level

Walking with God, surrendering to Jesus for the reasons He was here, consoled by His message brought forth by Isaiah 9:6. Excellent poetry well rhymed.

This is a beautifully written expression of your faith Roy. It is a wondrous thing that Jesus did for all of us. None of us was deserving of his enormous sacrifice, yet he freely made it. As we remember his birth in this season, let me just say Merry Christmas, and may God's love fill your home with its warmth.

Another beautiful poem Roy! I don't think that there was a single line that I did not enjoy or find any fault with. You just keep turning out good ones! I think that the last stanza was my favorite; especially the last two lines. "He's captured every part of me" seems to perfectly sum up the Christian faith and what Jesus does for us. I don't see any issues whatsoever. The poem just shows how Jesus was, and is, a man of humility and simple living who made the ultimate sacrifice. Great job.
