HA! This is funny and so well-written. When you think about the countless genes we each carry, it boggles the mind. Me, I got Dad's skinny legs and Mom's proclivity towards heart disease. I can live with the skinny legs.

This is funny. We all inherit one thing or another from our parents that we would rather not have. If it's only physical appearance we are lucky.

Don't know if you will get this review. I certainly will not be able to get any reply because my profile is closed. But it seems I might be able to play around on here with one or two functions still.

Anyway, this is funny stuff. The first stanza is brilliant, the second more so. I might have been a bit more forthcoming with my words in the third stanza, but that is just me. Got my vote, head and shoulders above the competition.

Yeah, but what are great mammaries without nice legs to accompany them? Just a coupled of withered stalks lugging around a some ripe melons, LOL...

Good stuff, and good luck in the contest. I really liked the vintage black & white presentation of this one. :)

It seems that we're always wanting what we don't have. You don't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might get what you need. Phrase is there, thanks to the Rolling Stones. I enjoyed reading this rather humorous poetic thought transference... John

This is quite a funny poem about your body. I inherited different body parts from an array of relatives so I look like I was put together by a committee.
