This is an interesting piece of poetic art dear Amada! You have witnessed a miracle that everyone should encounter. Faith and hope can become true through prayer.
Thank you for sharing!
Good luck with the contest!

Another great poem amada. It makes us think of the things that we miss when we are lost in our own misery. God is always there and hears us when we call, but we have to call. Good luck in the contest. Cheers Fez

This poem was beautifully illustrated in words and you told a poignant story of bodily healing and spiritually healing as well. Faith and prayers have strong healing powers. Thank you sharing your wonderful poetic talent. I loved the little ditty in your bio that you are a 'collector' of words. You certainly are... good luck in the contest.

Thank you for the lovely comments to my poem on faith.

A different kind of a spiritual poem. Shows that when you're down and out that's when you appreciate a helping hand to restore who you are. Love this part: "bandaged eyes
and fatigued faith, "
Superb! Les

Hi amada, this is a most beautiful peace of poetry my friend, that stanza about the arms is a lovely thought, but the best is the reference to the mustard seed, it just rings so true!

Hello, my friend. How have you been? So good to read your writing once more. I particularly liked this stanza:
"I remembered
that I have forgotten all about my arms...
those two limbs at both sides of my body
that once embraced lovers,
cuddled children,
hung wares on the clothes line... "
Happy Holidays! Bob

Evil Eddie did a number on your poem. It is good when you are down and out to raise your arms and spirit to praise the Lord. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Nice poem of faith. Good luck in the contest.
Many years ago, I had burned the palm of my hand quite badly. I immediately ran cool water over the burn for about 3 minutes then put the hand in the air and praise God for His goodness to me. The hand didn't even blister and was healed in about 3 days.
