Hi Barbara:)
Jim certainly has an incredible personal arsenal. We can only hope that he can take up Soni's trail before she encounters the thieves. The following dialog between Jim and Tatiana about sums up my feelings that Soni has over reacted by going after Midnight by herself. She has even violated the orders of Richard Hughes to stay on her ranch until the investigation about peyote is over.
I can certainly understand why Tatiana is mad at Alex fpr allowing Soni to set out alone, but I don't understand why she didn't express her opinion from the start.
Nice chapter with great dialog, but I'm ready for more action. So far, all serious action has taken place off stage. I found no nits this time and you still have my love and Irish Hugs for encouragement.

Jim is still a mystery to me. He is competent on a horse and I am still curious as to who his boss is. I wonder if Miguel has taken Midnight so he could lure Soni away from the ranch, knowing she will go after him. I'm betting he won't be expecting Jim to go after her and maybe we'll finally get to the bottom of this mystery.
