Dear Catherin - I haven't read previous posts on this story so this will be a stand alone review not on your plot but just this chapter. I found this work well penned, easy to grab onto and keep me reading. Your descriptions, emotions woven with skill seem to me almost a type of sentimental expression of the student still learning. There is always a sense of more in those moments, as if the goal is just out of reach. I thought you did a great job overall and I enjoyed the read.

Good writing. Not a lot going on (that I'm aware of) in this chapter. I mean that in a good way, because regardless of much happening, you manage to keep it interesting. That's good writing.
