My but you've touched on a usually uncomfortable situation that most of us have had to negotiate at one time or another. It's happened to me twice and I reacted differently both times. In one instance I went to the lady and embraced the pleasant conversation that centered on past experiences we shared. The other time, I ran like a scalded dog! Our parting was most unpleasant and she has the memory of a super computer. best to leave that alone, I figured!
Your writing is engaging and crisp. each line wanted me to read on to the next. I enjoyed this very much. In my estimation, it's a true six-star effort. Good luck in the contest!

My but you've touched on a usually uncomfortable situation that most of us have had to negotiate at one time or another. It's happened to me twice and I reacted differently both times. In one instance I went to the lady and embraced the pleasant conversation that centered on past experiences we shared. The other time, I ran like a scalded dog! Our parting was most unpleasant and she has the memory of a super computer. best to leave that alone, I figured!
