A very cryptic ending here, Phyllis. Always trouble when Luke and Co. mix it up with the humans. I laughed with the "one kiss" scene. One kiss does not make for a marriage! Good chapter!

Wow, Blaze is quick thinking on her feet. Blake Sebastian has found what he wants, a wife, in the form of Blaze, but I don't think it's what she wants. Good dialogue.

The focus is Blaze vs Lorna. The storyline development Lorna wants Blaze out of the picture when it means the people she works with could loss Blake the presidency.
The dialogue is clear and helps to let us see what they are thinking. Such as when Blaze told Lorna she was looking at the Attorney General's office. The narration shows the action Lorna's face turning bright red or so angry with Blaze.
The hook did Blaze guess what Lorna wants above all else?
...People will put up with (drop a or chg flaws to flaw) in a president...

Thank you so much, Rita. I appreciate your reviews. I'm looking forward to the weekend, but wish it would snow. After last year when it lay in piles for five months, you'd think I'd not want to see any more! But a nice thin layer would make it so pretty and cheerful for the Xmas season. :)
