Hi royowen,

Two panadol and bed? Sounds like a good cure-all, but I've not heard it used on writers block yet. Still, in this instance, it seems to have produced a fun poem.

Thanks Patrick for the great review, just tongue in cheek, the whole, Aussie humour, a little like our English friends, blessings, Roy. An old Aussie saying, "take a bex, (aspirin) and a cup of tea, and lie down"

This is a well written poem almost everyone here can relate too. We all have faced writer block at some point and its very irritating and sometimes troubling.

That should get it done, poet. Sometimes switching genres will create a desire to return to the org, but not all the time. Good advice. Blessings to you, Bro.

Writer's block is one of the ways the muse seeks attention. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Cute and I'm sure that this could be a helpful antibiotic for the disease, but remember some use the "writer's block" as an excuse. I like your poem, short and to the point.

Flow and creativity are great. Message is true, writers block is no fun. The important thing to remember is stepping away for a bit can be helpful. Go somewhere to change your surroundings. An idea just might appear. I enjoyed it!

My beloved dog, Noatak used to tell me when to close my computer, and I am not joking. Now that my babies are no longer there I write when the feeling takes me and leave well alone, when it doesn't. A cup of tea is a good antidote! Well chosen words and rhyming to convey your thoughts. Enjoyable read. Faye

Nicely written abcb quatrains about how we worry to much about writer's block. I really think the only people who should worry about writier's block are those who make their money writing for if they can't write their whole lifestyle changes. When it's just a hobby than it can come when it comes.

I like the picture she could be throwing away a half finished poem or the whole idea of writer's block.

Keep writing

You are absolutely right, my poetic biblical pundit. If you sit there trying to wrack your brains, it won't work. The best thing to do is sleep on it. Who knows, maybe you'll have a really good dream or a super bad nightmare that'll inspire you. There are sites on the web the help, too. Just Google "writer's block". You'll see...

Excellent, Roy, very well done! ~Dean
