You said it, my daughter said it & another reviewer said it - so no - it's not wrong of you AT ALL!! In fact, I didn't even realize it until my daughter mentioned it. I guess my inner Dr. Seuss guess snuck up on me!!! :)

A fun 'messy' poem with some of your stanzas real tongue twisters. LOL. Mostly written in good rhyming couplets except for one or 2 near rhymes - 'rest/mess - 'happen/hands. I particularly like your penultimate stanza, where you confess to being a mess LOL. Good read and Good Luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

It depends of whether it is a physical, emotional or psychological mess you are talking about. Some messes are easy to clear while others you may need help to clean up.
Everyone is there own kind of mess.
Good poem. I like the near mononrhyme.
The picture seems almost satiric while the beginning of the poem seems serious the end matches the feeling of hte artwork.

It depends of whether it is a physical, emotional or psychological mess you are talking about. Some messes are easy to clear while others you may need help to clean up.
Everyone is there own kind of mess.
