I found this to be a good read.
The plot was very amusing and the character development was good. Early on you get the impression that Reece isn't very bright, or is it just nerves (!). I enjoyed this.

Not sure what to make of it. You have come up with a very different angle for the subject. It's a bit weak on the plot I feel. I can't get my head around the way you have made your characters to be so dumb. I can't buy into that.
On the positive side though. It is nicely written, very readable, I didn't feel I had to retrace my reading to catch the plot. Some tidy dialogue in there also.
