I like several things about this:

1. That it takes the viewpoint of the child.

2. Many of the examples are well-done in that they fit a child's way of thinking.

3. They rhythm is dead on consistent.

The little things.... the polish on your shoes, the cuckoo clock that wakes you up, your little memory box between your ears.... they do a world of service without a wink from us. Time to thank for the joy it brings. Soft, smooth and ice cool. I could feel that little joy in my nerves.

It's easy to see why you are so proud of your family Brooke. They are beautiful. I love this poem. It expresses gratitude for "the little things." I have discovered through life that if I can one thing to be grateful for each day, there is no room for self pity or hate. They can't coexist. Thank you for this enlightening look into your life.

Once again, Brooke, you've written a delightful poem for children that calls for some wonderful illustrations.
I like how in each stanza the first three lines rhyme and the fourth line is repeated in every other stanza.
Nice picture of your daughter, son-in-law and Sawyer. They look like they are having a grand old time!
