A great poem, love the rhyming you have used here and while reading it to myself I could also feel the sense of rythmn you have used in this poem. Keep up the good work.

An absolutely delightful poem about the spirit of thanksgiving .We should teach our children to appreciate the little things in life that bring us joy.'the breeze when my kite is flying ,for my mom when I feel like crying, for my cat when he comes to nuzzle'-all are perfect examples from a child's point of view. And the last quatrain is a perfect closing gently reminding that troubles would come but one balances them with the good things around us.

Delightful! This is so delightful to read, Brooke, that I think also it is a timely reminder to all of us to be thankful for the little things. The little things are what make life go around, Giddy

And sometimes it is being able to truly give thanks for the little things that makes life bearable. On Thanksgiving, we all join hands in a circle and say what we are thankful for. My daughter- Netflix. Thank God for the gift of being able to laugh at the little things. Excellent Thanksgiving poem.

Wow, I don't think I've ever read one like this one: Is it correct to call this type of rhyming scheme: AAAB then at the end: AABB? I really like it for its uniqueness.

This is superb - such a wonderful poem...
giving thanks even for the web from the
spider (always fascinating in my eyes,
altho I don't like spiders) - rhythm
and rhyme flowing perfectly.

I love the picture - what more can I say - thank you for making me smile.

Love the line For the cheese in my ravioli,it is so much fun and adds a feeling of joy to the poem. This is a fun poem to read and feel the small things in childhood that matter to a child, Excellent poetic form and flow of lines.

Love the lyricism of this one, catchy and quirky with a deeper meaning for those who partake and have partook.
Good presentation of the form with the fist 3 lines rhyming answered by the fourth.
Lovely image of togetherness.

A perfect poem to help explain the spirit of Thanksgiving.
If we could all be like little children and be thankful for the little things life could be so beautiful.
I love the word imagery and format which gives the poem a feel of joy and anticipation. It is so full of the thankfulness and love of life.
I wish I had a six to give.
