One is tempted to give you two stars just to see what kind of explosion would ensue. Since discretion is the better part of staying alive, here's five.

I have calmed down since yesterday. I am still mad, but not as vocal. I guess writing this was therapeutic. Yes, I hope Rebeca can help with the bank.

I guess, right now, nothing I might say will cheer you up. I just hope your friend, Rebeca will be able to help you at the bloody bank. I would feel exactly like you do, people should be more understanding, bet they wouldn't like it either. Good luck, Faye

I know they meant well, but their timing was just not so good. I feel calmer today and think writing this was therapeutic.

Well...I do not think I would ever trust a bank in Mexico. I suppose I should day something soothing and profound. I might sooth the side of the head of the bank president with a two by four. Afterwas I would offer my sincere regrets.
Well hang in there ...like you have a choice.
Oh, dome pretty good writing also.

Writing this was therapeutic. I needed to vent to get it off my chest. I am sure at some point I will get it all sorted out, but doubt it will be anytime in the near future.

Sasha, I am so sorry you have experienced this. It is terrible and I would feel the same way. I truly believe that God puts us in these kinds of situations for a reason. We do not have an inkling what that might be, but I beg you to pray for His guidance in getting you back on track. He loves you more than you can know. I have prayed for you and thank Him for an answer! XXX Hugs, my friend. Miss Sally

I don't think God has it 'in' for me. I just think he has more important things to deal with at this time. I have been through worse and know in the end, it will get sorted out. I am just frustrated and having a hard time with no money. Fortunately, my check will be deposited on the 3rd and hopefully the bank will return some (if not all) of my money.

I'd say something to cheer you up, but it would probably have the opposite effect. This ramble was really a fine whine. Hopefully it was therapeutic for you. Good luck in recovering your money.

Yes, it was therapeutic and I actually felt better after writing it. I have been through worse and know in the end, it will get sorted out. I read your other story on this and am sorry to hear that you are still no further forward with your bank than the last time you wrote. However, I do see a nice touch of humor in this story so perhaps you are dealing a little better with it after all! I did laugh at your awesome list of qualifications. You really are quite special aren't you? LOL thank you for sharing.

My sense of humor is slowly...very slowly...returning. I actually laughed today. That is definitely a good sign. I have been through worse and know in the end, it will get sorted out. I am just frustrated and having a hard time with no money. Fortunately, my check will be deposited on the 3rd and hopefully the bank will return some (if not all) of my money.

You promise? About the biting thing, I mean. One can always hold out hope...

You know what I always loathe to hear when something bad as happened to you occurs, Smurph? "Well...everything happens for a reason." 'Okay, Sparky that's easy for you to say,' or something clever and witty like that is usually my reply. What the hell reason could there be for someone to steal all the money out of your bank account other than the fact they were a greedy bastard -- or bitch, as the case might be? zero...zilch...Nada!!!

It's great that your friends wanted to cheer you up and all, and that's cool. But the generic crap they were trying to force feed you to do so wasn't what you needed to hear. Had I been there with you, I would have turned to you, looked you in the eyes, and said... "Hey, Smurph. How's about I go and get my huge hunting knife, then you and I go and find this prick and split him stem to sternum. Whaddaya say?"

I'll bet that would'a cheered you up! (LOL)

Sorry about your toe woes, and your money maladies. People...I just don't know about 'em sometimes.

Thanks for the laugh. I know a place with really cool hunting knives...big ones too. I know they meant well, but I just couldn't handle the "at least you have your health" comments. I made up with my dear friends and they understand my frustration. I have been through worse and know in the end, it will get sorted out. I am just frustrated and having a hard time with no money. Fortunately, my check will be deposited on the 3rd and hopefully the bank will return some (if not all) of my money.

Hah, you're very welcome, Smurph. Your obvious frustration came through your narrative loud and clear, and I don't blame you one bit.

I too get checks on the third of each month. From about the twelfth of each month until the following third, and after paying all of my bills, I'm usually broke again.

So, I completely understand you pain, believe me, LOL.

I hope you get your money back, and my knife offer still stands -- if they ever catch the creep, heh-heh...

How you can write at all, at present, let alone squeeze some humour out, is completely beyond me. Quite astonishing. I do hope Rebeca was able to get a result.

There are a couple of lines that don't seem to me to quite make sense:
'In addition to wanting to move back home--but cannot because I do not have a home to go to or any money to purchase a bus or plane ticket to my nonexistent home-- blow up the bank, and I have been in excruciating pain since Wednesday.'
It's the 'blow up the bank' that seems to be the problem. If you were to move the 'and' from after 'bank,' and put it before 'blow', that would then make grammatical sense, although I'm not sure whether that's what you want to say.

Yes, that was unclear and I think I fixed it. I am sure I will eventually get back to normal but doubt it will occur anytime in the near future.

No wonder Mexican immigrants to the US don't trust banks. I'm so sorry this happened, Sasha. Is there anything I or Page & Spine can do? -Nancy

No they don't. There is a lot of corruption here and the Banks rank near the top of the list.

Somne things in life just suck ... and this is one of them. There is no "bright side" to having all of you money stolen. It is terrifying to be alone and broke in a foreign country. I do hope that Rebeca can help.

My sympathy to you my friend.

Hugs, d

Even if she is not successful, it is so nice of her to offer to help.
