Roy: I enjoyed reading this cat story. Cats are a complicate breed - don't touch them when they are in their King or Queen mood but you better give them a whole lot of love and several treats on demand or your curtains will be shredded. I love their independent nature yet sometimes like little babies. I feel so privileged that cats always like me. A fun read. Linda

Cats seem to reign as if they believed The Good Lord had ordained it. I gather as well that the dogs were as subordinate as the humans. From kittenhood onwards they never doubt their supremacy.

This is why I don't like cats. They do what they want when they want and don't care what you think or care about. Dogs are so much more sensitive. Great job though

My six cats can use your words as their mantra. Cats are royalty like your poem describes. Cats are supreme, only second to God is such a true line, excellent use of words.

A very nice poem and the picture is too cute. Not sure about cats being second to God, but if you love one then I guess it can seem that way. Well done.

Oh, this is superb! I am so much a cat person, I adore these creatures, I also have been involved in animal rescue for over ten years.
This poem is a treat! The picture of the kitten is to die for, what an adorable little critter. You are right, cats are regal, and in Egypt are cinsidered sacred animals.
This poem put a big smile on my face.

First let me say how much I enjoyed your poem
"The life of a cat." One of the things I would say about it is that it is FUN. From the beginning into the middle and on through the end. Cats and their supreme arrogance are a subject that is familiar to all of us and one we can't ignore.
As good reviewers we are to give constructive criticism coupled with suggestions for improvement so here goes. I couldn't improve this!
May God Bless you, have a Happy Thanksgiving.
