This poem is quite amusing. I like its rhyme and rhythm, although the there is a little tinge of exaggeration, I think. "they're more like a Lord, a queen, or a king...Cats are supreme, second only to God..." But thanks for sharing. You have a mastery of making your poem rhyme. Congratulations. Dom

Hi, very enjoyable poem to read.
Entertaining too.
So true that cats differ from dogs
in their pose and attitude.
Cats are more independent than dogs from the owners too.

LOL this is so cute and adorable. I am a dog owner now but used to have cats and this poem is absolutely spot on! They literally walked all over me! I really like the pace, flow and rhyming in this well written poem. The cat photo is just too much! Very much enjoyed and thank you so much for sharing.

So cute and sweet--AND most of all true! I have three of these fur balls. Such a delight to read. Favorite lines:
"Cats are supreme, second only to God
they don't give a damn, or care, give a sod,"

What a cute picture. You are so right about the way cats act. I love all animals and the people who love and care for them are special. My kitties bring so much joy into my life, I cannot imagine being without them. My dad once said when he died he wanted to come back as one of the family cats. Good job. No changes. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the awards.

The photo of the kitten is priceless.
They are just like humans so cute when little until they are a certain age. LOL
I believe your poem is on point.

I think you have the cat pegged. As the saying goes: You don't own a cat, a cat owns you. (I think there is currently a prompt contest for a witty 5-7-5 about an animal that you might like to join.) Best regards, Jeanie Mercer
