Lovely tribute to family and friends who are absent. "and our question is why?" great thought here. We always seem to hearken back to the past at the Holiday; just seems natural. This is uplifting and nostalgic at the same time. Nicely structured with an even flow of words. Good tempo makes for a very smooth read. Thanks for sharing!

I am a Hospice Chaplain and as such I am losing friends all the time and this is my holiday reminder to each of them that they are not forgotten by their loved one, their Hospice friends or God. You are most welcome. I might have known! A dear friend of mine is a full time hospice nurse. Another close friend is retired from same. I deeply admire those who are there to extend comfort and kindness as one prepares to die. It is a bittersweet ministry, but a blessing to many. Thanksgiving joy to you!
