Hi, Dr Nad,

Beautiful poem and lovely dedication to those at PruittHealth Hospice.

Having lost 6 family members to cancer within a 4-month period this summer, we have a renewed respect for what Hospice nurses do. They give so much to their patients. Such an awesome thing to witness.

Cheers & Blessings

Thank You so very much for your kind review and the wonderful stars you placed on display for all to see for "Holiday greetings from PruittHealth". I am a Hospice Chaplain and as such I am losing friends all the time and this is my holiday reminder to each of them that they are not forgotten by their loved one, their Hospice friends or God. May God Bless you, have a Happy Thanksgiving.

To Dr. Nad,
A lovely poem speaking of the last days of Autumn as we prepare our hearts towards the blessed day of the year when Christ becomes centre -fold in our homes and our lives and paying Him all the glory and honor He so richly deserves.
As a free verse it reads smoothly and fluently.
Charlene

This is a beautiful poem, just today I was looking out at the brown leaves that was all over the grass.

This nice how you (all) showed you support toward people who are going through or have gone through crisis.
God comforts us and so does his angels such as you (all) are.

I am sure this poem will touch a lot of people.

Good luck with it and God bless.

Hi Dr Nad - What a beautiful poem and a lovely thought to write this poem for those people in PruittHealth Hospice. This is the time of year when people in these places miss their homes but it is people like you who make these hospices as pleasant a place to be as possible. Good Luck to them all and you. Warm regards Dorothy x

What a poignant and very touching poem you've scribed to those with sad hearts at Christmas. The rhyme scheme is one of my favorites, and you've used it so well - very lovely.

Thank you again, and God bless you for your charity - such a difficult career choice, and yet...

Our Thanksgiving has passed, but I wish you a blessed one. :)

Those are special words of comfort for families who have lost someone. I get booklets and cards from hospice as well (my Mother died in February). Great poem:)

"Activities abound,
and all for good reason.
Once again, we've arrived;
it's the Holiday Season!"
-- My favorite stanza of your poem, Doc, although the entire poem was very enjoyable to read.

We need to take a step or two back, sometimes, and realize the "Reason for the Season"... The birth of the Christ child, in Bethlehem. The sacrifices made by those coming from distant lands, lands which they called their homes, to settle here and start a nation. To be thankful for what we have, and the talents and blessing our Lord has given us, rather than to lament over what we do not have.

Yes, there are many reasons to be joyful and thankful this holiday season. So many have so much less than we.

Well done! ~Dean Kuch

Lovely message and conveyed with a real sense of love and peace - despite the underlying sadness it is still a poem of hope and joy. Nicely done.

Hi Dr Nad. This is a lovely Christmas poem you have penned for everyone. Hospice work must be hard as it's hard enough in my job as a nurse in a care home when people die. Yes so many questions why. Good luck.

Nice Poetry expressing holiday mood
With the reference of Nature is good
Enjoyable the crisp day
Full of pleasure, makes gay
But 'is tempered by sadness'
With the absence of beloved one and his grace
