This is cute. The ending said it all. For happily ever after flows only in one's dreams. Regardless the imagery is so strong and the flow is so smooth, and I could just see silver gleam by the light of the moon. I enjoyed the read.

Pardon me ,Sawyer, my fiend, but Grandmother has sent my evening away with a smile and chuckle. Loved this one as well, Brooke. Made my evening. My blessings to you and the family.

Well, it's no wonder the brave knight was sleeping. Have you ever hefted a broadsword!? Just one of them is very heavy, but to wield two? It'd be beddy-bye time for certain! LOL...
Excellent, Brooke. A little adventure, and some fire-breathing dragons thrown in for good measure. Yep, this one's hot stuff for sure!
Great rhyming and a wonderful tempo throughout, along with some good, creative slant rhymes with, "steps/depths"
A frolicking fun-filled adventure with a good knight who needed to go night-night, and quick!
Well done. :)~Dean

Hi Brooke,
I love reading these ones out loud... it sets the tone of adventure to new heights.
I had Jade smiling widely with my antics while playing out your words... yeah, I know, I'm a nut, but that's what makes me... me!
What can I say? every outing for you is a seamless ride into a perfect rhythm, rhyme and flow... magic in every sense.
With our thoughts we create,
safe havens,
James xx

Great fantasy poem and as I've said about many other you've written, a great poem for a children's book. You really should get an illustrator and start publishing these as colorful children books.

This was an enjoyable poem to read of a little boy's imagined adventures... Phew! He did a lot in one day -- not wonder why he's exhausted. And bottoms up! Too cute.

Gert, thank you so much :-) Sawyer has lots of books with great characters in them, and his parents take him to things like Pirate Festivals at the shore, so he likes all sorts of fantasy characters :-) Brooke
