this is just beautiful, royowen, the story of his survival through God's grace and even the name he was given, is wonderful. he does seem to show God''s glory on his face.

He is beautiful (or handsome) I should say! I dedicated my children to the Lord when they were babies and each has grown to serve Him as they have become adults. I pray this young man will have a similar path. It is obvious God has a plan for him. Well written poem with well chosen, expressive words.

This is a well written ode to this bright eyed, cute, little boy. It seems like he is destined for great things as explained in the poem and the notes.
We have miracle babies in our family too. We have twins that were born three months premature who are also around five.
It may have been a magic year for miracles.

Thank you Mary for this empathetic and gracious review, I think a lot of people can identify with difficult pregnancies, my daughter had miscarried a short while before, so it was an anxious time, blessings, Roy

Josiah (Jo-Jo) "Eternal sparks." This is an excellent poem you have created here and I can see why you should be a very proud Grandfather to Josiah. Well done, Roy.

What a cutie--thanks for sharing your "miracle baby" grandson--I enjoy him vicariously, especially since my son is a 38-year old bachelor! I admired your rhymed couplets plus "flame" and "seed" metaphors. Best wishes in the quatrains contest- Joan
