I think if the Lord offered me one gift, I would choose Faith. Without it we have nothing and with it everything. Roy, judging on your writing I believe you have it in bucket loads.

This is a delightful poem about your grandson. How come he lives in New York, it's a long journey to babysit.

We have a grand daughter in Atlanta.

I truly wish I had a sixth star to give, but please know that I found this poem extremely beautiful. It is a lovely tribute and celebration of your grandson's 5th birthday and the miracle he his.
The flow of your poem was gentle with a feeling of a loving hand beneath the words.

God has placed a gift in the hands of the subject of the poem. He has the eternal spark in him, and it's up to him to make what he will of it. The third stanza is like a blessing upon this person. roy: Very nice quatrain. Another contest and another message with good news for the Lord! I like the God's light will shine. We had snowy clouds this morning. The people were like bees at the grocery store. I put my garden pots away and packed garden seeds into baggies for the spring. His peace was upon me as I saw the light shine bright. I can relate!
