I liked how you described your mother and how beautiful she was, and that your daughter shares the same characteristic.
The last stanza is an excellent way to conclude this tribute to your mother who is no longer with you.

It is my strong belief that anyone whodies and leaves offspring behind, continues to live through those children. In that way, long dead ancestors are still with us.

What a lovely tribute to your mother's memory. Our mothers are such an integral part of our lives from birth on that when they are no longer present in body, they remain in our memory and often in our children's faces.

The tempo is a bit off in a couple of places, but I don't think it interferes with your intention. Nicely done. I enjoyed reading this.
