Hi, Brooke,

Hard to believe cold weather in your neck of the woods when we still have our windows and doors open. In fact, the last couple of days it's gotten warm enough I should have turned the a/c back on!! I'm sitting with a fan blowing on me right now. LOL

Great artwork to give the feel of winter for your poem. Nicely presented.

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'.... Jax (*.*)

Pearls and diamonds... all from winter's magic wand. Seems that way sometimes. Snow can be a real nuisance, but it's really beautiful when fresh, isn't it? Do they get snow where Sawyer is in CA? I'm guessing they don't.

Thank you so much, my friend. No, L.A. gets no snow, but they take a few day vacation around Christmastime to Big Bear, a ski resort area in the mountains just a couple hours away :-) Brooke

Shovelling is a way of life when Winter comes to cause all strife! I wish all the world in white was donned - swimming is how I longed. Tee, Hee.

Delightful read. Playful and beautiful. The artwork is soooo terrific. Did you create it? I have 2 little grandsons and it reminds me of them. I'm an artist and poet. Senior years are such fun. Back to your poem--just perfect.

Beas Peas, thank you so much :-) No, sadly I am not an artist. I always acknowledge the artist in my author notes, and this particular one is one of my favorites at fan art. Brooke

Perfection indeed with the rhyming couplets and the flow. Your choice is words, enhances the poem, too. Pearling is great, and swirling, whirling, and twirling really work to show action. Winter's waved and pure the pearls--excellent alliteration. I'd just as soon winter wouldn't wave her wand. At least not so early. She's kind of a sadistic fairy. We had large snow flake fall yesterday, and this morning when we went to a car dealer's on the south end of town, we saw a dusting of snow on the cars. judi

Very well written poem, very good visualization and flow that pulled me in. Unfortunately, very cold and not nice subject matter. Snow...brrr... not enjoying seeing any of it falling. Keep up the wonderful words and sharing them.

This is an apt and fitting poem that the author has created with this piece of work. Winter I just about to wave its wand and white the world yet again.

This work has reached the exceptional level

adewpearl: Excellent and brilliant poem about the snow. I like your alliteration of where the winter waved her wand and all the world in white! Great meter like horses trotting in the snow! All bundled up and playing in the snow, fun times. Then hot chocolate at Grandma's we go.
Maybe, sharing photos and stories and a poem or two!
God bless! flylikeaneagle

The snowy world that Winter paints really does make everything white. I shudder at the thought! Lovely picture and imagery with excellent use of rhyme to convey your message. Enjoyable as always. Faye
