Good chapter, Bob. High tension, suspense, revelation of the soldier he hit being a female, first of all, then one who might hold a key to his identity. And with the last line: "She may even provide salvation." we have a beautiful lead in to the next chapter.
It seems as though I missed a chapter. I'll need to check that out.
Only one minor nit:
H2O doesn't spell water, it spells survival. " [You spaced before your closed quote.]
You did a much better job this time of breaking up their Points of View by spacing.

The chapter you missed is titled, 'Abonalare'.
I'm having problems with my postings these past couple of days. I'm promoting with a Pot of Gold and additional member cents but the posts are being wiped after only two reviews. I queried it but was told this was normal practice. If I want more reviews I must 'pay' more. My interpretation of the message
