How wonderful to see a child laugh! I can almost hear him, Brooke. Great photos.

"I didn't stand a chance against it,
couldn't trap or cage or fence it." Terrific rhyme and rhythm. Lots of fun, Brooke.

Would you think any less of me than you already do if I confessed to you that I absolutely love playing in those ball bins, Brooke, LOL?

This was a very lighthearted, wonderfully written poem on something as simple as just having a ball. Oh, and yes, the pun was most definitely intended, heh-heh...

I only wish I had a six star to give for this one Brooke! My Niece posted a video of my Great Nephew laughing, as I listened over and over again my day was instantly filled with joy. God bless!

Thank you so much, Neonewman. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who views a favorite video over and over and over. LOL :-) Brooke

I'm not usually one for repeated rhymes, Brooke, but yours, here, had me reading with a huge grin throughout! Brilliantly effective!

Short but SO entertaining read.

Thanks for the big smiles this afternoon. I needed them as my football ('soccer' in Yank speak LOL) team, Wolverhampton Wanderers, just got thrashed 5-0.

Cheers, Ray xx

In soccer terms, that is a thrashing. In American football, that kind of score is the first score in the first minutes of the game. LOL
Thanks so much, Ray. Glad you enjoyed :-) Brooke

OK, rub it in, you rotter. :-)

We'll still win the league! 'COME ON YOU WOLVES!' (That's their nickname and the fans' famous chant) xx

Hey, as a fan of Philly teams I totally understand the enthusiasm of your team's fans, you most especially. In the states fans of Philly teams have quite the reputation for being loud, overly enthused, fanatic :-)

Stupid, but remember Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner? I am reminded of that bubble creature that would capture them and return them to the island. Only here- laughter. And what a way to go! Great poem and photo.

I found numerous children's poems yesterday of yours that I had used in previous years with my first graders. Guess What? This one will be added to my collection.

Funny thing is, after I read this delightful poem. I laughed out loud without even thinking. I do not think that I could have suppresd my laugh anymore than the person in your poem. That should be no surprise for my reaction to any of your poems is pretty much automatic and un supressed. Another sure fire winner from one who is no beginner.

Laughter is the best medicine. I liked the light hearted way of how you wrote this piece of poetic art. Make someone happy and you will be happy too. I enjoyed reading this delightful piece of poetic art... John

LOL, Brooke, I love it! My grandchildren love those balls, they are such fantastic fun. I can see Sawyer loves them, goodness me, I can almost hear him laughing. Your poem, Brooke, it is as much fun as those colourful balls Sawyer is buried in, it is just as bouncy, and just perfect for the photo! Very well done. xsx Sandra

They had a ball pit at the Ikea several miles from where we lived when my kids were little. We'd drive over there just so they could play even if I had nothing at all to shop for :-) Thanks so much, Sandra :-) Brooke

As parents, we have done some funny things, but I think that is probably why we can count our blessings, the grounding our children had has paid off and they have become wonderful parents. I do believe that. xx
