How true is the message in this excellent poem my friend.
Every drop counts to create the whole. Love the style and
how clear you express yourself , beautiful... Pili

This poem packs a big message. Many time powerful people feel entitles and self gratified due to their success. However, no one reaches the top a lone. There are many small people, circumstances, event tiny things the build the whole.

Comment from Drew Delaney
The photo is indeed very beautiful.
The life span of rain drops and the sea depend on each other for survival. And so, as we as humans depend on raindrops, we too, depend on the sea as it evaporates and condenses, the cycles continue. Very good, Brooke. Lovely way to think on these as utterly important for life to continue.

To adewpearl,
Kind of like a play on words. The smallest drop to the biggest is what contrives the Master's plan to extend it's source to bigger and better tributaries so that more people will benefit from it.

Well stated, Poet. Children could say the same about their parents, and parents could say much the same about their creator.
All things, both great and small alike, have origins tied to something or someone.
Your wonderfully rhymed and well composed poem says as mcuh yet far more eloquently.
Good work.

This is a beautiful poem that the author has created with this piece of work. This is so very true indeed. As they say even the mighty oak comes from the meagre acorn.

That is such a lovely poem, Brooke, and I guess it's true too. All big things start off small, it doesn't matter what it is. This was a sweet and lovely poem to read. :) Sandra

This is a wonderful parable, Brooke, for young and old both, telling a story of how many things in this world are the result of small units uniting with larger ones. The sea depends on raindrops; the city depends on its citizens.
Good conversation between the sea and the tiny rain drop. I like how you personify each. Rod

Great exchange of compliments between the rain drop, and the mighty sea that appreciates her little friend's importance in the grand scheme of things, Brooke.
I really enjoyed this very accomplished little read, with the message that 'size isn't always important'. :-)
Cheers, Ray xx

This is wonderful. I like the dialog between the tiny drop of rain and the sea. The little drop of rain makes the sea.
Excellent poetic form that also tells a tale.
