Boy, it's hard to look at it way sometimes, Brooke.
Yesterday, when I first read this, it reminded me it was
election day. See, I've given up voting. And I've given up telling people I've given up voting, because . . . they always tell me every vote counts. To whom?

Anyway, that's why I didn't review yesterday.
It was a boycott you didn't deserve. Sorry.

Peace, Lee

Thanks so much, my friend. No need to apologize, but I'm going to spend the rest of the day crying over the fact you don't vote. My heart is broken. Brooke

Interesting conversation, between the sea and a single rain drop. All part of the same thing.
Lovely rhymes and unfailing rhythm. The picture gives me shivers. Of course, it could be cause the water looks like snow. It's started here. The beach looks very much like that. Lovely, Brooke.

Well done 8-6-8-6 quatrain with abcb rhymes.
Every molecule counts. Every bit of matter is made up of smaller ones.
Good use of metaphor

Wow..Hi Brooke. It's been a long time and its great to meet your words again. Your dialogue between the drop and the ocean sea is captivating. It almost reads like a proverb with a moral twist. Loved the rhythm. Cheers.

Hi Brooke what a delightful little poem and quite metaphorical as many of us are little drops of rain in the great scheme of life. Great presentation too.

Hi Brooke, this is really a love poem, I love how your poem is about the origin of the sea, and it is difficult to take it in, but so much of nature is overwhelming.

Great rhyming quatrains

Well done
Mary

Without the smaller things in life, the larger things wouldn't last long. It takes both working together. Enjoyed your personification of a rain drop and an ocean.
Well done, Buck

Hi there, Brooke

What a wonderful personification of rain and the sea.

Reading this, I was reminded of a term my mother would sometimes use to encourage us when we became disenchanted with our efforts.

'Every little helps, said the little old lady that piddled in the sea'

It's true :)

A lovely light poem to start my day, and gives a lift to give my workload ahead, some lift.

Thank you

tracey :)

Hi Brooke, loved this absolutely deep and thoughtful poem, it is beautifully executed and tells the reader that even the smallest cog in the scheme of life is very important, a pleasure to read my friend.

You have a great moral in this little poem, Brooke. In the overall scheme of things we all need each other. I really enjoyed it a lot, Giddy
