The truth lies in a tiny drop of water... life, creeks, streams, oceans. Without those drops of life, we could not exist. You captured the truth inside your well crafted rhymed poem.
Great art choice.
Excellent.

Brooke...I am but a tiny drop of rain has manifested into the appreciation from the sea...knowing without the simplest form of life and nature...the sea would not be...wonderfully created!

Dear Brooke,
This makes me think of the election. We maybe only a single drop but collectively we have tremendous power. Stunning picture to highlight this poem.
Warm regards,
Winslow

This says a lot about how even something that seems so vast and mighty is actually made up of so many much smaller things. This could be a metaphor for so many things in life.

This message could apply to so many situations. As one we don't have much power and add numbers and pow! what a difference we make -- as in the landslide elections.

Spitfire, thank you so much :-) I'm still busy crying about the elections as I was on the wrong end of that landslide! ;-) Brooke

Lovely to read.
I loved the poetic give and take between 'drop' and 'sea'. The rhyming was natural, unforced and delightfully conversational as well.
Good job.

EVERY person is necessary to make this world. Good or bad, EVERYONE is needed. Kind of like: "For want of a nail." Very well done!

How magnificent, the ocean, and how under-rated the "tiny drop of rain", yet you have penned a poem so fitting - almost the duty of a poet, if I might be so bold (*smile*) to point out the importance of even the smaallest thing in our universe. This is lovely, Brooke (as always)!

This poem really is a metaphor for strength in numbers. It is well written and flows smoothly within its thoughts and phrases. I enjoyed reading this excellent piece of poetic art... John

How true, Brooke - This poem is a parody of life and greatness. The best of us have someone to thank for being who we have become. If only we all could realize that sometimes even though we feel insignificant, we are all an amazing part of creation.
Beautiful Common Verse.
Rose.
