'I Issued an Invitation' is an extremely well-written and entertaining piece. The Sun definitely has her own agenda. It was a pleasure to both read and review this talented poet's work.

This poem really struck a chord in my heart. The beauty of the cycles of night and day, ... and the author well brings this out, in a beautiful use of personification. I so enjoyed reviewing this. The rhyme and rhythm are very complementary as is the picture. Good luck in the contest and Bright Blessings! ~ pat :)

I love sunshine and only recently developed a liking for rain. This wonderfully rhymed poem give personhood to Earth's greatest star. A fun rhyme.

I may be a newbie,(Less than 48 hours), but I know what I like in Poetry. I haven't figured out much about this site but I believe I have found friends who not only get my work but like it. I have never shown anything I have written outside of close friends and family. B U T . . . My purpose is to rate "I Issued an Invitation" This Poem is so flawless from beginning to end. It starts with the title and tells us a story succinctly and cleanly. There is nothing superfluous or contrived in it: Boom, Boom, Bam! I will be following you!

This is so beautiful and wonderfully written, and you managed to be so creative and meaningful within a strict rhyme scheme. The art you chose is totally beautiful. Thank you for sharing this!

Very clever poem with the perfect choice of picture. "I'll try to come tomorrow." She can never promise, since she doesn't control the clouds. :)

Since you and Sun are so close
Would you mind asking
For a month long basking
Not extra hot, just a healthy dose
Enough to keep the coolness at bay
For a little while longer
Well done, Buck
