A lovely chat with the sun and its schedules. Actually it happens as you write ...exactly. This is what I am happy about.
Thank you.

Hi...oh a sund dance poem. Oh how I long that she would grace me with at least 4 hours a day. Just in the afternoon, that I may sleep in the warmth and then let the winter come...

Great accompaniment for your lunar verse. (I seem to be reading these in reverse). Great characterization of the Sun. She is elegant and grand with a royal aura befitting her magnificence. These lines,
"the hour has come when day is done,
and I, the Sun, must set."
bounce along particularly well.

I am glad the sun hasn't been to friendly in Louisiana lately. We've been enjoying the cool temperatures. LOL
I enjoyed the poem very much.

Great poem again, Brooke! I like the mixed meter as it allows you more freedom of expression and it's an excellent piece of personification and very clever. Best wishes, Pete :)

Ah, if only it were that easy to get silly old Sol to put in an appearance!
Lovely alliteration in finest frocks and gracious guest garbed in garments...

Well, I guess it is only fair to do the sun, and the moon. This is great too, and it had more of a conversational tone. If one could speak to a star it may sound just like this. Well done again.

I'll try to come tomorrow,
for now that we are friends,
I know the way to find you
when e'er the Nighttime ends."
Your poem was sharing with me the same friendship with the sun. Your imaginations always runs through the beyond, and that is why your poems are special, even if our baby Sawyer is not visiting .
Beautiful Brooke. Bless you Terry xoox

This is yet another interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of work. I like this poem with its vivid imagery and it creates a beautiful picture in my mind's eye.
