LOL. The perfect Halloween poem about candies and attempts to scare, what else could be more fun? The answer is, 'Christmas' with all the presents. A fun read. Les

Sounds like he did. Good one Grandmother. Looks as if that Sawyer is engrossed with treats. Glad you shared your heart today. We all love that Sawyer. Blessing Brooke.

He's braver than me, I wouldn't go through all that, candy or no candy! He must have been very wound up with all the excitement. Cute picture, fun poem with super rhymes. Enjoyable as always. Faye

He's obviously a young man with a single mind and a sweet tooth! We often seem to scare ourselves more than our children with all our talk of ghosts and hobgoblins, vampires and witches! Perhaps it is just that we can sometimes see the horror that lurks behind the mask.

Yikes! What a scary image -- and young Sawyer doesn't even care! I like your poem and the cute image which matches it so perfectly. Sawyer is growing fast.

What a fun Halloween and it seems that Sawyer did indeed have a great time. I can just see him blowing a kiss to the skeleton. Lol priceless! Thanks for sharing. 8-)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh Brooke, that child is so amazing! Sorry, but this time your author's notes are almost (almost) as entertaining (er, um, maybe even MORE) than this wonderful poem! LOL

What a charming story. Bless his brave little heart. We also had neighbors that went all out. They gained such popularity that television stations came to photograph it.

Thanks so much, Valerie :-) It's kind of cool when a family puts that kind of effort into entertaining kids. Brooke

LOL I love your author's notes.

See! It's parents that put the fear into kids. Clearly Mum and Dad allow Sawyer to express himself openly and have given him a great sense of security.

Onto your poem, well I agree with him, sweets are much more fun than women casually taking their heads off!

Good one Brooke

kind regards

tracey :)

Tracey, thank you - yes, I agree. Kids who are afraid of dogs or spiders or water, whatever, pick up on the fact that at least on of the parents is scared. Miranda is not a hoverer, nor is his dad. When he trips and falls, Miranda gives a quick glance to see there's no blood, and then tells him he's OK and to pick himself up. :-) Brooke

I knew they would be - I've never known two adults who get more of a kick out of kids. They both wanted Sawyer so much :-) When people think it's scandalous that rich people/celebrities leave the child rearing to a nanny, I often think - you've never met my daughter. Believe me, most of the kids she has nannied got a big upgrade when their parents handed them over to Miranda. LOL
