an emotion as big as the Pacific - an effective simile
let's be specific - add apostrophe for contraction of let us
life isn't a cassette...good metaphor
you deliver a thoughtful message in good poetic form

Easily one of the most inspirational poems I've ever had opportunity to read. You've touched upon an array of elements - hope, dreams, patience, friendship, destiny.... - that touch our souls every day and lead us on. Supremely philosophic.
