Thank goodness this rich and inconsiderate hypocrite didn't win.
I say, cast him away on a desert island with his prostitutes, where he can't harm the morals of decent people, and also give his long-suffering wife reason for celebration.
I assume he's a Republican - in fact I'd lay my life on that assumption. :-)
Excellent dialogue to reveal this individual for the pig that he is.

I like the way you wrote this using both story telling and interviewing. I also agree that he was not elected due to bringing out in the open what people prefer to hide. Great job and timely article.

Well, I never saw the interview, but I think you presented it well. Sometimes picking people to do a job on morals is what get us into trouble. The right person for the job is not always morally correct. This is very well written.

But when I relate it to the title, A Good Man, I'm not sure if you're claiming the politician was a good man or not? Were you condoning his behaviour?
I feel you could have strengthened the article by adding a few details. e.g. When the interview took place, where it took place and the actual media response to the interview.
