Niyuta,
I had never read any of your work prior to reading this piece. I was definitely interested in reading Gift of Aloneness from start to finishe- because of your opening two stanzas-.
You posted a question:
Why am I standing staring at the gentle sea?
And then went on to explain that it was an opportunity to
look forward to things in front of you....future activities and thoughts.

It is for a person to seek was is yet to be born...or revealed...it is too see what is inevitable.....what comes next. Not what was left behind...
Utilize what you learned to build a better next day and the next.
I liked this piece.

I am truly moved by your comment. My writing somehow, gravitates towards the metaphysical subjects. Please visit my portfolio and you will find poems in the book titled, "Random Reflections." I appreciate your grading and the encouraging comment. Thank you.

Then I heard a reply came in from nowhere. This line seems a little awkward and doesn't quite flow with the rest of the poem. Perhaps: I heard a reply from nowhere or a reply came from nowhere. Just some thoughts. It's a good poem with an excellent message that I know I could use. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your suggestion. I felt it too but just ignored the feeling. I will try the wordings in my edited work. Thanks again.

Your poem has a good clear message. I agree, it is the perfect time when we have any to ourselves to consider our lives and think positively about the future. Well chosen words and good use of descriptive language. Enjoyable read. Faye

Thanks Faye: I was facing it and had to make a move; then I went through the experience in my subconscious mind and words came. I am glad you liked it.
