this is an excellent write, mystery writer, you did an excellent job writing this haiku about the inlaw visits that make for a nasty Halloween. good luck in the contest.

    Awesome, I think the panel should offer cent pumps for those who vote. I believe more people would take interest in the voting procedure. I have both had and seen 6 star ratings that never receive a single vote. God bless!

    Ok thank you, I was told by them not to mention the name of the contest and I never ask them to vote for me, however I suppose I should reword it to say "If you care to vote for your favorite." I definitely want to keep my status clean in here as I am learning from a few awesome folks like yourself. Thank you young lady! God Bless!

This is a superb entry in this Halloween contest! I detest this holiday mostly because of the "evil nasty things/pounding at [my] door" all night.
A great ironical twist in your last line. Whether you really feel that way about your in-laws, no matter. Your point is made!
