I missed this one for some reason. I did have a wee break, so...

one of the great things about this poem is that early on you say...

Follow me down into spiraling dreams'

This is a perfect line that does indeed lead the reader toward the rest of the poem.

You are very demonstrative and articulate in your descriptions.

The passion you share with your wife, Jade, is a woman's dream:)

In all seriousness, this is very lovely, big guy - my only quibble is with the plural "flushes" - first - do you mean "flashes"? ("Flashes" does not always have to be associated with a woman's entry into menopause - right?)

Secondly - because it is plural, (they), "confuses" would be "confuse" = not plural, yes?

You show amazing ability in a genre requiring passion, strength and sensitivity, my knight (and now you know why I dubbed you that! LOL)

yeah, just thought I'd let my softer side warm-up and cause some much needed friction on the home-front... smile)))))).

I suppose flash and flush doesn't matter all that much because they similar meaning, but confuse V's confuses is a different matter... I took the advice of someone else to change that from confuse... so I should have trusted myself a bit more... so thanks a heap for picking that one up with a solid explanation... most appreciate, as was this wonderful review filled with kind and genuine sentiment... thank you dear friend.

Hi, James,
I believe that after your wife Jade read this, she certainly craved for more :D
I really enjoy this kind of poems, romantic and with an erotic feeling that takes the reader into your words and feelings. I love romantic and erotic in writing.
I enjoyed every stanza; hard to say which one was my favourite, but perhaps:
All the loving emotions that I feel
The chance to know what is real
Follow me down into spiralling dreams
soft murmuring-moans turned into extremes.

I don't find anything to criticise. The emotion, word choice, the flow and tone was all excellent, the rhyming and assonance was also skilfully done without removing the emotion or making the words looked forced somehow.

Again, I apologise for my delay in reviewing this. But I will be starting to be more often online (a little more often). Lately is always in a run, even to post.

The very first line is one I relate to 100%. You follow it up with nothing but beautiful imagery that backs that statement up completely. What a loving and sensuous piece. Not an equal number of beats per line, but it reads smoothly and that is all that matters. Beautiful words that read beautifully, anything else is nitpicking. Well done, mikey

I guess that's the gentleman in us both? (In relation to the first line) I know the beat was a tad off here and there, but the words rang in my head... obviously a frustration thing or maybe, hoping I could be that man again, who knows?
