This is very cute - for a moment I thought a hatchet man would enter, but was pleasantly surprised with the onslaught of grand kids...and grandad making like he was terrified. Very sweet write! AT=/

You had me going with this one. I thought it was going to take a sinister turn, the old man protecting himself with garlic to ward off vampires, the trick or treaters seeking a red treat. Good twist at the end to shatter expectations.
