Thank you for sharing this biographical tribute to your best friend. I am pleased you have this special ally in a world that sometimes feels quite hostile. I enjoyed your rhymed couplets in these rhythmic quatrains. Cheers- Joan

Dawn, that was a lovely tribute to the man you love. We don't tell them often enough, do we. It is mainly the little things that mean the most that go by unappreciated, yet we do appreciate them, we just 'forget' to tell them. A lovely poem, my friend. xsx Sandra

Prayer and praise are surely the perfect catalyst for an expression of deep gratitude.
To have a friend who is all that you have mentioned is indeed a gift from God.
A lovely dedication -so personal and heartfelt.
Nicely expressed in perfect rhyme as your thoughts flow with clarity and truth.

Hi. Grateful and gratitude both wonderful and needed things. You have touched the heart of hearts.
I'm away and computer time is limited. I will be slow to respond and review.

This poem is a really beautiful tribute to your special friend, Dawn. You express so very well the kind of ongoing and selfless love this person has for you. No wonder they have such a place of honor in your life. Hugs, Bev

Dawn: oh, that song! Remember driving to work in the late 1960's, that song would come on and I would sing at the top of my lungs. The poem is a marvelous tribute, well spoken and respectful. Very nice writing. livelylinda

A wonderful poem that is so endearing in it's praise of a kind and gentle friend. Great thoughts express in some excellent rhymes that express so well that love and tenderness that a true friend inspires. good stuff there, Dawn.

This is beautifully penned and I am sure your friend was thrilled to receive such a wonderful tribute to your relationship with them. You are really great with these shorter ones as your command of vocabulary comes across in powerful imagery in these shorter forms. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.
