OMGoodness, Brooke,

Sawyer is too cute with that monster getup. I guess this Granny will have to start to get with the times when the twins are a little older. I don't know a Mike Wazowski to a Buzz Lightyear!

This was a fun poem, tailored made for Monster Inc. Sawyer.

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'.... Jax

Jax, thank you so much :-) Mike is from Monsters Inc and Buzz Lightyear is from Toy Story - you have to start watching all the popular kids' movies from the past decade :-) You'll have fun and get in the know!! :-) Brooke

My girlfriend put this pix of a little boy 1-ish on FaceBook with the following caption. I love it! I thought you get a kick out of it.

not afraid to tell on you!

This is great! I love this costume too. The sentiment on scaring folks for the holiday has been well put both in this poem and in a multitude of Disney channel specials. And, sorry for the pun here, it 'rings a bell'. :)

No how on earth do you expect the Cute Little One to act like a monster. Even dressed up like one he still looks cute :) This is well written. Looking forward to the other pictures :D

CR, thank you so much :-) Yeah, last year when he was a lion and he roared, he sounded like the friendliest roarer in the world. LOL Brooke

Wow, even the shoes match! I'm impressed. What a delightful read. "I just want a twitch from his giant eye..." Cute! Is that a real hand in the grass, to the right of the skull??

Thanks so much, flamingstar. Dressing Sawyer up is Miranda's joy in life. Well, that and then photographing him after she dresses him up. LOL :-) Brooke

What a great costume and poem to match! Love these lines:

but no one wants monsters with boyish charm,
too busy with smiling to threaten harm.

Of course, that is precisely the kind of little monsters we adults love, so Sawyer had better get used to being hopelessly adorable. :)

Sawyer is so cute he should be a model. I love the poem and the green monster suit too. Is that for this Halloween? I love Halloween, when all the old spooky movies are on TV but have to admit I'm not really fond of tricker-treaters taking up my evenings, so I just stay in my home office.

Nor, thank you so much :-) The monster suit is one of his two Halloween costumes - it is a character from the movie Monsters, Inc. - His other costume is Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story :-) Brooke

A great Halloween read, especially as we prepare our 2 y.o. twins for their first trick-or-treating. You usual joy in the subject matter is prominent here and is shows in the elegant flow of the rhyme. Nicely done.

Whoa--two costumes--it must be hard to choose which one to wear! I really liked your matching colored text--I'm sure Nora and Sawyer enjoyed the whole ensemble too. Your playfulness about monsters is only exceeded by your perfect rhymes and clever alliteration. Many cheers--I'll be waiting for the poem about the Buzz Lightyear costume and I doubt that you'll disappoint! Sweet dreams- Joan

Joan, thank you so much :-) They go to so many events - Underwood Farms, Pierce College, Boney Island, the school's party and parade, actual Halloween night - one costume just will not do LOL
for Buzz Lightyear his parents will be Woody and his girlfriend Jessie - so I can't wait for that set of photos due this weekend :-) Brooke
