Although fantasy is not my favorite thing to read, your story poem was easy to follow and held my attention. Great rhyme, meter and alliteration throughout.

Interesting narrative for a Sunday morning posting. I see this as the story of mankind. Starts out in innocence. Then innocence is lost. Prayer brings it back. Am I close?

Great poem, Brooke. There were two things that stood out for me here. One, your imagination. Very impressive. Two, how the whole time you were leading to one specific message that holds a lot of power. I'm wondering if you mapped this out or just let it flow and ended up there?

I always just let it flow - I never know where the heck I'm going when I start - at some point the ending reveals itself to me and then I work toward it, but probably not till I'm half way through. Thanks so much, my friend :-) Brooke

An excellent story that is fabulous for children. It flows smoothly on abcb rhyme. Good alliteration., sone anaphoric, enjambment, and assonance keeps it fresh and interesting. The dissipation of the dark cloud with fairy dust was wonderful imagery.

Really nicely written, Brooke. I love all the alliteration
and the recurrence of the character/symbols. I only wish we didn't have to rely on faeries and magic glitter to push the dark clouds away.

I loved how I could apply this poem's moral to most any darkness in the world today. I wish we had these fairies of Fernwood Forest to lighten the darkness caused by ISIS today. Your poem is always such a lyrical read. Thanks for sharing.
