Bravo! This wonderful work makes me ask the burning question: Where is a good fairy when you really need one? Our sky is getting darker by the day and without the aid of some good old fairy magic, I am very much afraid that our once happy world will just fade away. Great work Brooke.

I enjoyed your story in a poem. I like the light-hearted subject with a determined mission. I like "and the clouds as black as ravens' wings had no choice but to pass on by." I know young children will enjoy hearing this poem read aloud. Good job. Thanks for sharing.

It has always been my contention that light can be dredged from the darkness. In this case, the fairies gave a bit of themselves to dispel the darkness just as chipping away at the darkness lets in light. Good story poem.

Another solid hit. I don't know how you do it, keeping up the high quality you promise and always deliver. Happy Halloween to you and to precious little Sawyer.

The flow of the lines was very smooth. And the rhyme and rhythm as well, was smooth, perfect, and excellent. I tried to read it aloud and it flowed like a song. The figures of speech, the simile's and metaphors, are outstanding. The images are varied. It's source, I suppose, was from a Book of Fairy Tales. Thanks Brooke for sharing. Dom

Brooke, What a wonderfully sweet tale --- with a awesome message that light does triumph over darkness. Nice song-song-y feel to this one. I caught myself almost humming it as I read along. And you spiced it up nicely with loads of alliteration (which I love!)
Thanks for sharing this lovely faerie story in a poem!
Blessings,
Marsha

This is a cute poem. For the word, "congregation" you might consider "constellations" (plural). Also, you've set yourself up for this next question. I'm curious about sounds a fox might make: What does the fox say?

This is a charming tale children would love as would the parents who read it to them.
What a great job you did of setting the scene before introducing the fairy queen
I also like the meter you chose to write them poem in. It's different from the norm.
A fun read, Brooke.

The excellent rhyme of this poem along with its rhythm makes this an outstanding poem. The use of Alliteration was such a pleasant delightful touch. The type of language used was time appropriate. I like the artful presentation. The picture chosen is perfection. Congratulations! ~ Pat
